The best thing you can do for sensitive baby skin is not to cover it with synthetic chemicals. Wash baby blankets with pure soap and cold water. Make your own non-toxic cleaners with simple ingredients if possible.

Our baby receiving blankets are designed to be the workhorse of your nursery, we want you to use them regularly, we know that having a baby changes your life and suddenly time is a commodity you can't afford to waste.  for this reason we have chosen cotton flannel that is washable and easy to care for. 

Washing Instructions:
Delicate wash in cold water with a mild soap, tumble dry low or hang to dry.  Avoid high temperatures and do not bleach.

Soiled Blankets:  If your baby's blanket is been soiled, which is probably bound to happen, we like to soak our blankets overnite, place warm water in a bucket or a large bowl, add 1/4 cup of baking soda and a tablespoon of a mild soap, let it soak overnite; remove next day and follow washing instructions above.
